Dr. Remash K. is a staunch senior interventional cardiologist and popular among patients for his cordial approach and midas touch for cure. He has completed his MBBS from Government Medical College Trivandrum and MD from Government Medical College, Kottayam. He completed DM from Sreechithira Thirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology. He was well trained by eminent professors like Dr. Jagan Mohan Tharakan. He won the best paper award at CSI Kerala Chapter for the title “Natural history of rheumatic aortic valve disease after mitral valve interventions”. He has constant presence in various forum as speaker and authored many articles in international and national journals.
His areas of interest in interventional cardiology are coronary interventions including primary angioplasties and complex coronary interventions especially bifurcation stenting and CTO PCI, peripheral arterial interventions, pacemaker and AICD implantations. His previous assignment was with Aster MIMS Calicut, Travancore Medical College Hospital, Kollam and Metromed International Cardiac Center, Calicut. He joined our institute since 15th June 2020 as Senior Interventional Cardiologist. Besides active patient care, he have been involved in academic trainings of DNB Cardiology, MD and undergraduate students throughout his career.
