Malabar Medical College

Situated on the banks of Kozhikode Kuttiyadi Highway, Malabar Medical College & Research Centre, also known as MMC & RC started its triumph over a decade ago, on 7th September 2010. MMC & RC is the first Medical College Hospital in the Private sector with an annual intake of 150 MBBS students on board at the time of inception. In fact the Hospital had started functioning two years before it, in 2008 with all the preparatory functions to become a Medical College under the Management of Sree Anjaneya Medical Trust. MMC Hospital is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Kerala and recognized by National Medical Commission. 

The MMC & RC Campus spreading over 32 acres of land is approximately 20 kms away from Kozhikode city. Lying in the backdrop of those pristine foothills of Kozhikode, Wayanad border, our campus is a lush green and serene environment for academics, research and patient care. 

With a pool of highly qualified Medical Professionals amidst abundant experience, the firm is successful in contributing the highest quality Indian Medical Graduates to the society. In the field of Medical Education, the institution has gained a unique place in the hearts of every MBBS aspirant of North Kerala. Our History

MMC History
Malabar Medical College & Research Centre is managed by Sree Anjaneya Medical Trust with the mission of providing upper crust medical education and quality health care at affordable cost. The medical college was established in the year 2010 and is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences.

The entire campus spread over 32 acres of land on the fringe of the state high way connecting Calicut and Kuttiadi.It is approximately 20 kms away from Calicut city and situated in high greenery which provides conducive atmosphere for education and patient care. 

The institution has grown to the heights under the elegant leadership of Mr. Vallil Anilkumar, the Chairman of the Hospital and the Trust, who is a nonpareil chaser of his dreams. 

Achieving another milestone in its journey, the Medical College Hospital started Postgraduate Diploma courses in Surgery and Orthopaedics Departments in 2016.The institution has further rise to start postgraduate courses in nine specialties from the academic year 2020-21.

The esteemed campus also hosts three other Colleges in the Medical Education Sector.

Mr. Anil Kumar Vallil is an Indian health care entrepreneur, engineer and philanthropist. He is the developer of many healthcare facilities in the State of Kerala. He is also the Chairman of Vallil Healthcare Groups, Sree Anjaneya Medical Trust, Malabar Medical College Hospital & Research Center, Palakkad Institute of Medical Sciences and Sahani Hospital. 

His mission is to provide quality medical education par global standards and create superlative treatment facility for patients. He is a supporter of education, medicine and rural development. Currently he is holding the position of Secretary, Private medical College Association Kerala. He is a born leader, interested in broader socio-economic and political progress of the nation. He is keen in surveillance of significant revision, reforms and amendments in policy, legislations and standards regarding to medical education in the present national and global contexts. The journey of his success translates foresight, preparedness and strategic management. Our inspiration comes from his message to believe in self and deliver the best.
