World Patient Safety Day - 2022
The Department of Community Medicine in association with the Department of Quality, Safety and Nursing of Malabar Medical College Hospital & Research Centre celebrated “WORLD PATIENT SAFETY DAY 2022” on 20.09.2022, 10.30 am at Hospital Reception area. The WHO theme for this year was “MEDICATION SAFETY-MEDICATION WITHOUT HARM”.
The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Rajesh (Sr. Consultant, Dept. of Neurosurgery). The welcome address was given by Dr. Kanniyan Binub (Deputy Medical Director). Dr. Dinesh Kumar M.K (Deputy Medical Superintendent), Mrs. Leelamma (Nursing Director) and Mrs. Soniya (Chief Nursing Officer) felicitated the program. Dr. Remya Ramachandran (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Community Medicine), Ms. Neethu(Staff Nurse, Dept.of Cardiology) and Dr. Anagha (Clinical Pharmacist) delivered health talk related to the theme of the program. Following question and answer session was held to clarify doubts related to the topic raised by the public.
